Alessi Organic Rigatoni is a perfect pasta for thicker, meaty sauces or baked pasta casseroles. The texture of the bronze dies allows for the sauce to better adhere to the pasta.

The origins of breadsticks date back to 1679 when a baker named Brunero Antonio, from Turin, Italy, was faced with the task of developing a bread suitable for the sick child of a king. Our imported Alessi Breadsticks are made with the same grissini torinesi (Turin style) recipe of centuries ago. The nutrient rich volcanic earth of Mt. Vesuvius produces the highly praised tomatoes known as San Marzano. With fleshy pulp and minimal seeds, this variety is less acidic and sweeter than other varieties. Only those grown in the valley of the Sarno River can be classified D.O.P. San Marzano Tomatoes. (Denominazione di Origine Protetta which translates to Protected Designation of Origin.) Alessi San Marzano Peeled Tomatoes bear the D.O.P. mark, a distinction governed by Italian law which ensures integrity of the product.

Alessi Julienne Cut Sundried Tomatoes are hand-picked from Southern Italy when they are juicy, red and flagrantly ripe. They are then split in half, salted and laid on large wooden flats to dry in the sun. The tomatoes are a welcomed addition to many foods.
